The carousel makes for a super cute experience and you will snap some very pretty Insta-worthy shots for sure. Yes, the Instagrammable factor is what sold me. Magic Hour is another one, which I have experienced three times now. The Ready Rooftop Bar with their $5 margaritas and $1 tacos is one example. In New York City, they work with the Tao Group to create incredible bar and dining experiences. When in London, I did work with them on marketing activations for my previous employer, and I have stayed at their hotels in London and San Diego. Magic Hour is located on the rooftop of Moxy Times Square in Midtown Manhattan. ![]() While Magic Hour Rooftop Bar and Lounge gets all the views, the cocktails are great and the venue is the cutest. In addition, with all the high rise buildings and skyscrapers, you can combine some incredible dining experiences with amazing views. That city is so big, you can never run out of activities and things to do. Like I say, get past all the vendors and you can admire the splendour. One great thing about New York City, is that there is always something going on, always something new to try. it makes for some really interesting pictures. I love the layout of the supporting wires and they way they criss cross over the bridge. I was there as the sun started to go down and I was able to get some really good pictures on my phone which I was very pleased with. From here you will get some great views of Manhattan with the Statue of Liberty in the background. I would suggest you make your way past these people and get onto the bridge properly. There are also various people with stands encouraging you to use them to get a video clip of yourself in this great location. You can get cheap key rings and fridge magnets for the folks back home. The pedestrian part of the bridge is a hub of tourists and vendors. You can drive across the Brooklyn Bridge from Brooklyn into the Financial District and vice versa however for the best experience I would recommend going on foot and visiting towards the end of the day. I was aware of the Brooklyn Bridge before my visit to New York but I did not realise what a tourist hot spot it is. ![]() You are allowed to bring in your own snacks. The cafeteria has snacks only and was expensive. Per the Audio guide, the main exhibit through the closed off glass sections are not suitable for under 11 year olds, though I saw a few kids with their parents. ![]() It helps to point out key facts and you won’t need to read the many exhibits along the way. We remained behind for the second movie as well - that one starts every hour on the hour - “finding bin Laden”.įor a great experience, pay $10 for the Audio guide. first watch the movie of the “events as the day unfolded” - starts at 35 minutes past the hour every hour - its a 15 minute movie. If you have time, both movies are great to watch. if you are in the area then perhaps purchase the tickets for a later time slot and then do some sightseeing at world observatory and then return closer to the allocated time. By the time you reach the ticket sales, then the next half hourly slot could potentially be sold out and you would need to wait for that particular time slot. One for ticket sales and another for security checks before you enter. This was a a memorable experience with lots of personal accounts and narrations from various individuals.
